Well..my 2006 SUV died on me!

Yep, the engine just went KerPlunk the other day.

I was Stranded on the side of the road

& my children were Stranded at school:(

I was Stressed, Worried, & Angry...

But,

Once again..Gods Grace & Favor were Working in my Favor!!

 I Thank God for Protecting me(from buying a junker)

We were originally paired together

in Aunt Pitty Pats

Sewing Accessories Swap...

Unfortunately & still to my embarrasement,

I was UNable to

fulfill my swap obligations!

But, Betty being the

Sweet person that she is..

understood & let me off the hook.

I was at a very desperate time in my life

& found it so Easy to confide in Betty!!

We are very Far apart in

miles..but I feel very close to her despite

those miles that seperate us!

We have since continued Our friendship

&

every once in awhile..

We send each other little

packages..just because!

Its Amazing that Betty's packages

always seem to arrive perfectly scheduled

&

remind me that I have a

Special friend

thinking of me:)

I just talked with Betty the other day & she mentioned

that her & her husband had

taken a little trip

to the border...

That little rascal failed to mention

she had put something in the mail

for me at the border...

It's Football season again

&

although my 15 year old DD needs no Excuse

to throw a Party...she asked to have

a football party.

I guess she gets that from her Mama;)

I would have people over every weekend if possible!

I Love to Decorate & Cook for parties...trying out new Yummy recipes,

some of them become favorites & some become..don't do that again! Lol

It wasn't a Huge Party

but it was a Fun get-together

for my daughters friends.

My Mom & I

fixed teen friendly food...

Hotdogs, Spicy Buffalo Chicken dip,

Chips, Cupcakes(daughter & friend decorated)

Popcorn, and various goodies!

Of course Nobody was Allowed in

unless they had their GA shirts on:)

Alittle swimming before game time!

Good Friends..Good Times!

I hope they all realize that these years

will become some of their

most Memorable times!

Fall drink recipe with you:)

Pumpkin Spice Hot White Chocolate!

4 Cups whole milk

1-15oz. Can of pumpkin

1-14oz. Sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

8 oz. White chocolate chips

Whip Cream

Combine milk, pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk & pumpkin pie spice in medium saucepan.

Whisk to mix.

Simmer until Hot.

Remove from heat, pour into cups, add a few white chocolate chips & top with whip cream & a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice!

YuM!!

Dreaming!

Wow....I have really been searching my heart lately

& I Still Don't know what I want to be

when

I Grow up!

Yes, I am in school, working toward receiving a Health Information Technology

degree.

But...

when I really dig down deep & dream about what it is

I want to be..

Its NOT sitting behind a desk & computer everday!

I have so many things that interest me & spark a passion

in me!

But...

What I REALLY Dream about doing is..

Opening a Darling

Cupcake/Pastry-Boutique!

I live in a quaint little Southern town, with a quaint little square..

Perfect place for my Dream shop..except, it is a

Little town-with a small population.

I see a Darling lil shop with Bright colors on the walls,

Pink..Polkadots!

The display cases would be thrifted furniture pieces,

Painted brightly & holding LOTS of

FUN stuff...

Purses, Bags, Hairbows, Keychains, Monogram Items, Ornaments,

Aprons, Jewelry, gifts...

Kind of a Boutique within a shop;)

In the Cupcake shop, I would offer

not only Cupcakes but,

Yummy Coffees, Teas, Lemonade

& Lots of Yummy desserts!

Maybe eventually serving

Soups & Sandwiches??

Now...back to Reality:(

Unfortunately-I don't have the

$

to follow my Dream.

So..

back to school I go:)

For now this is My Dream

& although I can't bring it to Fruition

right now..

I won't stop

So here it is, my New blog... One of many new beginnings in my

The past few years of my life have been Quite the
Roller coaster ride! & guess what..
I DON'T like Roller coasters!
I'm Praying & Believing for a smoother ride...
maybe the "Fun slide" with Gentle ups & downs..Yea, that sounds
Good!
Why Polkadots, Pineapples, & Prayers??

Well..Polkadots..Just because I Love them!
Pineapples..because I asked God recently to
show me a sign that Everything was gonna
be all right..and when
we moved into this house, I found a metal luminaire
with a cutout shape of a pineapple..under one of
the steps leading down to the dock!
&
Prayer..because I have said many, many, many in recent
months
& because through prayer, I now enjoy a closer relationship
with JC!

I know we were Never promised a smooth ride in this life,

but I sure am Ready to put all these Trials & Tribulations behind

me

& Start living the Blessed life, He Has promised me :)
